  • In Slab Radiant Heating Systems

In slab heating is the most efficient way to heat an occupied space, polymer pipes are laid into the concrete slab or floor through which low-temperature hot water is circulated.

  • Waste Heat Recovery

Waste heat recovery is where surplus heat that is rejected from a building or process is recovered and utilized on site to offset energy consumption from the utility networks.

  • Air to Air Heat Recovery Ventilators

Buildings lose a large amount of heat through ventilation as warm air that has been heated in the space is then exhausted and replaced with fresh outside air.

  • Indirect Evaporative Coolers

Indirect Evaporative coolers or IDEC are highly efficient means to cool large spaces using an evaporative process.

  • Natural Refrigerant Chillers and Heat Pumps

Natural Refrigerants that have both minimum impact on global warming and can be safely disposed of at the end of their useful life.

  • High Temperature Heat Pumps

A booster heat pump to take water from a medium temperature from the first stage heat pump to high temperature (via a second stage heat pump).

  • Heat Recovery Chillers/Heat Pumps

Waste heat recovery can improve the overall efficiency of a heating and cooling system when there is a simultaneous demand for hot water generation and space cooing.

  • Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) – Air Conditioning

A VRF (Variable refrigerant Flow) is an air conditioning system where a single condenser unit can serve multiple indoor units.

  • Hybrid Geothermal

Hybrid Geothermal systems integrate geothermal systems with conventional equipment such as cooling towers and boilers or with multiple types of geothermal.

  • Open Loop Geothermal

Open-loop systems extract water from the groundwater table or confined aquifer and exchange heat with condenser water via a heat exchanger.

  • Geothermal Heat Pumps

Geothermal heat pumps make use of the stable temperature and large thermal mass of the below ground substrate down to 150m to extract or reject heat from a building’s heating and cooling process.

  • Thermal Storage

Thermal storage uses fluids or phase change materials to store thermal energy when demand is low and act as an energy source during peak times.

  • Solar Thermal

Solar thermal systems heat water up to 65°C + using free energy from the sun. Solar can provide domestic hot water, space, process and pool heating.

  • Condensing / Hydrogen Boilers

Condensing Boilers are fuel powered boilers that use condensing technology to maximise thermal efficiency.

Enertec is primarily a provider of Mechanical engineering consulting, specialising in Energy Efficient design of HVAC, mechanical services and plant process design.

Our Projects

Enertec has completed numerous projects around Australia including in diverse climates such as Perth, Margaret River, Tasmania, regional Victoria, Sydney, Southern highlands of NSW, regional Victoria as well as New Zealand. Our Aim is to provide the highest quality design and documentation to de-risk and simplify the construction process. The feedback we have received from our clients is that we go above and beyond what typical contractors provide. We leverage off our Tier 1 project experience to deliver the same standards for all projects for high end commercial and government funded projects down to the residential level. Explore some of the multiple projects completed by Enertec.

Really difficult to confirm this until a design is completed hence this is why we recommend you engage our consulting services before moving ahead with selecting a system. Geothermal is a capital-intensive installation and can be anywhere from 20k to 100k in drilling costs depending on the size of the project and ground conditions.
